Mike McGearty, Chief Executive Officer

Mike McGearty

Mike is a Chartered Management Accountant who joined CarTrawler in 2005. He has overall responsibility for the Company's operational functions and drives the growth of the company through his focused approach to leading technology and clear business strategies. Prior to CarTrawler, Mike worked for eWare, a leading developer of CRM software which was acquired by the software accounting giant, SAGE plc. During his time at eWare, they successfully implemented their CRM solution for companies such as AVIS, Alliance & Leicester, Computacenter and IONA Technologies. Mike also held the position of Worldwide Financial Controller for POINT information Systems, a CRM provider, which was recently acquired by S1. Key clients at Point included blue-chip companies such as IBM, Digital, Unisys.

Richard Prosser, Chairman

Richard has over 30 years experience in the International, travel and tourism industry and is currently a member of the World Economic Forum's 'Aviation, Travel and Tourism, Global Agenda Council'. His early career was spent in a variety of International and UK based roles with the Swiss-owned Globus and Cosmos Group, before being recruited as part of a new senior management team to revive the fortunes of the London Stock Exchange listed travel group, First Choice Holidays PLC, in 1996.

Following three years of very significant UK Mainstream growth, Richard was appointed as Managing Director of the new Specialist Division to lead the expansion strategy into new markets and differentiated sectors of business. Over the next few years under his leadership, the Specialist portfolio grew by acquisition, and organically, to encompass more than 40 different travel companies, operating from 14 source markets across Europe and North America. In 2007, Richard was part of the team that successfully merged First Choice with TUI Tourism to create the world's leading leisure travel group, TUI Travel PLC, a FSTE 100 listed company, carrying over 30 million customers on holidays around the globe every year. Following the merger, Richard continued as Managing Director of the enlarged Specialist and Emerging Markets Division and was a member of the Group Management Board.

Richard joined CarTrawler as Chairman in May 2011.

Bobby Healy, Chief Technical Officer

Bobby Healy

Bobby's field of expertise is in architecting and implementing effective distribution strategies that offer CarTrawler's customers rapid, effective solutions for direct consumer bookings. Bobby has an impressive track record in creating booking engine and middleware solutions for the world's top airlines, airline alliances and mega travel agencies including Star Alliance, Hotwire.com, United Airlines, Air New Zealand, Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, Mexicana, American Express, Sabre and Rosenbluth International. Bobby recently sold, Eland Technologies, the Company which he founded, to industry giant SITA. The solutions he designed and built are now in use by 80% of the world's top 20 airlines. Following the sale of Eland, Bobby spent two years working at SITA as Company CTO. His move thereafter to CarTrawler was a continuation of his mission to reduce distribution costs in the industry, whilst maintaining high margins for the largest travel companies in the world.

Gregory J Turley, Founder & Non-Executive Director

Greg Turley

Greg Turley is Founder & Non-Executive Director of CarTrawler. Greg brings over 25 years of experience in the Travel and Transport Industry (car rental, car leasing, car sales, brokering and now distribution). Acknowledged as a business leader and visionary and having worked for over two decades in the car rental industry, Greg saw a gap in the distribution market in 2003 in offering all car rental companies a second-to-none car rental distribution system - giving exclusive access to Airline, Lodging and Online Travel Agency sales channels. CarTrawler came from his hands-on understanding of the car rental industry, matched with cutting edge distribution technology providing a true end-to-end, and integrated service to car rental customers. Greg's vision is to empower CarTrawler's customers and suppliers to achieve increased revenue from selling car rental either as a single product or combining it with travel itineraries (air and lodging). Greg continues to innovate and drive CarTrawler's strategy and evolve product designs. Upon the launch of CarTrawler in 2004, Greg was nominated for the Ernst and Young emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2005 and was recently listed as one of the Top 50 travel ”Power Players” by Travolution Magazine.

Niall Turley, Director of Supply and Co-Founder

As co-founder of CarTrawler, Niall has extensive experience in strategic supplier relations. While working for over 20 years in the car rental industry in both Europe and Australia, Niall developed the skills necessary to implement the successful management of supplier relationships. He is currently responsible for supplier negotiations and today CarTrawler offers the largest selection of car rental options from over 550 leading and independent car rental suppliers in 175 countries in 25,000 city and airport locations, in 29 languages, quoting in multiple currencies. Niall also ensures that the Company maintains the stable structure that made it possible to achieve its impressive and profitable growth to date.

Michael Flory, CEO-Americas

Michael Flory

As CEO Americas for Car Trawler.com, Mike brings nearly 20 years of travel and technology experience to his role. Prior to joining Car Trawler, Mike developed extensive experience in supplier and account management, sales and, business development, strategic negotiations and operations in progressively complex roles across multiple industries. Until 2009, Mike served as VP/GM of Expedia’s distribution business and oversaw Expedia’s North American Car Rental business in the two years just prior. In addition to online travel Mike most recently oversaw all operations for an international resort company as SVP Operations. Mike began his diverse career with eight years with Sheraton & Westin, after receiving his MBA from the Leeds school of Business from the University of Colorado.

Enda O’Toole, Vice President of Account Management

Enda O’Toole

Enda O’Toole is the Vice President of Account Management for CarTrawler and has 14 years experience in the airline and car rental industries. Enda has worked at some of the world's most recognised and leading companies in the industry including Ryanair, Hertz, Sixt and Aer Lingus. As the head of the Account Management team, Enda’s role is to optimise each partners potential, ensuring maximum revenue and rental returns for each and every client. He has extensive knowledge of the airline and car rental sectors which allows him to provide insightful and comprehensive advice to existing and new clients.
Prior to joining CarTrawler, Enda managed a portfolio of hotels, car, insurance, baggage and seat fees for Aer Lingus as an Ancillary Revenue Business Manager. He was also the Director of International Business for Sixt and developed strategic online partnerships for the company and built the Sixt brand throughout Europe. As a Business Development Manager for Hertz, Enda was responsible for developing and managing their largest European account – Ryanair.
